About Me

I am  passionate about helping people achieve their Nutrition goals. My own personal experience with weight loss, and physical fitness has inspired me to provide people with nutrition plans that will work into their lifestyle.

I hold a diploma in Food and Nutrition Management from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. I have assisted clients in health and fitness clubs, both individually and in group-settings, to help them achieve their nutrition goals.  I have worked for five years at a hospital assisting in  creating appropriate meal plans for patients with specific dietary requirements

I have provided detailed nutrient analysis of recipes for the Good Earth cafes, and consulted with the Forzani’s Group to re-design their cafeteria menu to include healthier meal choices.

Physical fitness is also a part of my life – including yoga, kickboxing, weightlifting and hiking – and I have completed my certification in Resistance Training through the AFLCA (Alberta Fitness Leadership Association) and Can Fit Pro.

My philosophy is to help clients achieve a balanced eating plan that fits into their lifestyle.  Cutting back on calories and starvation diets are not the answer to long term success.  I educate people on eating  foods in their whole natural state as possible, and to limit consumption of processed and convenience foods.  Your success depends on you being ready emotionally and mentally to make a change in your life.
